Construction of the sanctuary is complete, and they are in the final stages of finishing the dormitories as well as the youth training centre. NLM is starting a self-sustainable greenhouse project, which teaches youth about planting, growing and the commercialization of plants. This will provide an income to support ministry programs and ministry workers, and will give people with a lack of fixed income some financial support. A total of $15,000 is needed to continue with this project.
The ground floor of the Tarlupadu orphan home, where 65 children are living, is complete and the second floor is almost done but still needs flooring, electrical, plumbing and paint ($9,400). About 20 new children have joined the GSI family this year, one of them is an eight year old girl who is deaf and unable to speak. Her parents, after being unable to get support for her, finally came to the Lord and to GSI. GSI is trying to help her through some kind hearts as she has less than a year to get medical help to gain minimal hearing and speaking ability
August marked a year for the current crisis in Afghanistan. The Jesus Network & Afghan Church of Toronto’s refugee sponsorship efforts are in overdrive. 45 Afghan families are being sponsored. Also, they have weekly Afghan church services with zoom attendance across the globe and they are starting the Afghan Church of Waterloo! The Jesus Network is celebrating its 15th year this year. They are trusting God for 15 new monthly donors and 15 new prayer warriors. They could not have imagined all that God would do the past 15 year.

October 16th is Run4Freedom, a counterpart fundraiser to Walk4Freedom where participants run together to raise awareness and funds and to pray together instead of walking.
